Day 13 (One last stop)

 Day 13 Wake up today was at 7:30, completely different from the last 12 days. My body was so used to the morning routine that I was up at 5:30, I woke up and took a walk around camp for a little and made a phone call back home. After draining my entire phone battery making a phone call I went back to camp with another 40 minutes before wake-up calls, so I started organizing my luggage, so I had less to do tonight and tomorrow. Over the next 40 minutes I heard everyone waking up before Jessica could even get to us. I prepped my lunch after food was brought out and then swapped places with Gavin who was still cutting melon and honey dew for breakfast and later. I let him make his lunch and eat breakfast while I drank my coffee and cut the rest of the melon. Today is rumored to be a relaxing tourist day, nothing too labor inducing. Day 12 (Where's Waldo? No, Where's PoBu)

 Day 12 Today wake up time was at 5:45am, I was up at 5 but because I didn’t want to fall back asleep and the only caffeine we had only comes out during breakfast I took a walk by the lake to get my blood flowing. While I was out, I reached out to my family before they went to work to ask how they were and how my cat was doing. After, I reached out to my girlfriend and then some few friends to try and start the day off with a good mind set. When I walked back to camp it was just about 5:45 and so I caught Jessica as she was making morning calls. I was on breakfast duty with Judy, but she was still sleeping and I was wide awake, so I didn’t mind doing it by myself since breakfast is just bringing things out. After prepping my lunch and having a coffee I started packing my essentials for the day and refilled my hydro pack and hydro flask so that I would have sufficient water for the day. Day 11 (Deschutes National Forest)

  Day 11 We woke up around 6 am and got our lunches ready for the day. We made our way towards Deschutes National Park, first things first we met our guest for the day, Alex Enna. Alex was the reason we were able to get to see the events we did today and paid for our rides so if you’re reading this, THANK YOU ALEX! The first activity for the day was a quick geology lecture from Christine Hughes. She taught us about the various rocks that come pouring out of a volcano when they erupt.   She mentioned the varying levels of cooled lava settlement, lava rocks, Igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic. We were then shown vary examples of the rocks, Cinder (the red colored rock), Pumas (The white rock that floats), Basalt (The two black textured lava rock) Obsidian (black glossy stone), The two unique rocks were two examples of Volcano bombs.
